I am Dr. Dev Roy, a highly experienced British board-certified Consultant in ENT, Head and Neck Oncology, and Facial Plastic Surgery, currently based in Dubai. With more than three and a half decades in surgical practice, I have built a global career spanning the United Kingdom, India, and the United Arab Emirates. I currently serve as a Consultant at American Hospital, Dubai, and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Sharjah. My mission is to provide exceptional patient-centric care by combining clinical excellence with aesthetic precision.
My academic journey began in India, where I earned my M.B.B.S. and M.S. (ENT) from the University of Poona. I then pursued specialized training in the UK, achieving qualifications including the D.L.O., F.R.C.S. (ENT), and the Intercollegiate Board Certification (F.R.C.S. ORL-HNS). I further honed my expertise by earning the European Board Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (EBFPRS), making me one of the few globally to hold this distinction.
Professionally, I’ve served in several prestigious institutions, including Broomfield Hospital (UK), Apollo Gleneagles Hospital (India), and NMC Royal Hospital (UAE). I have led departments, managed oncology units, and pioneered numerous surgical programs. I specialize in advanced ENT treatments, facial trauma reconstruction, oncologic head and neck surgery, and cosmetic facial procedures including rhinoplasty, facelifts, botox, and dermal fillers. My commitment to excellence has earned me multiple awards and fellowships, including the Ethicon Foundation Fund Scholarship and the prestigious title of Assistant Professor by Apollo Hospital’s academic division.
As a scholar and educator, I have authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications, contributed chapters to leading medical textbooks, and presented at over 100 international and national conferences. My work has been cited extensively, and I remain actively involved in academic circles as a mentor and faculty member for various surgical workshops and symposia. I believe that teaching is an integral part of surgical evolution and take pride in training the next generation of clinicians with the highest ethical and clinical standards.
